You have several far reaches on your MD list with your GPAs. You also have several state public schools that accept few non residents with your GPAs and no connection to the state. You are competitive for all the DO schools on your list. I suggest these schools from your MD list.

  • Central Michigan University College of Medicine
  • Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science
  • Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth
  • George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences
  • Georgetown University School of Medicine
  • Michigan State University College of Human Medicine
  • Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University
  • Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University
  • State University of New York Upstate Medical University
  • Tulane University School of Medicine
  • Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine
You could add these schools:
Medical College Wisconsin
Loma Linda (if you fit their mission)
New York Medical College
St. Louis
Wayne State

Thank you! I will look into those schools, as well as others that I come across.

How about my ECs? I have a gap year and plan to work as a research assistant part time. Anything else I could do?
