Hey guys!
So I am a second year undergrad student and need your help! I'm planning to apply to American medical schools after my undergrad but I messed up my first year real bad. My first year gpa was a 3.0 and got low 60's in chem II and calculus . I'm finding second year to be way better and hoping to change my grades drastically since I learned from my mistakes first year.
As for extracurriculars I am going through the interviewing process in order to volunteer at a hospital and trying to look into a research placement. I was wondering what other kinds of EC's I should do and what is a good gpa to have for Canadian applicants?
Any advice would be great, I'm so lost and confused at the moment.
