Hey guys, I was just planning about how to figure out loans and stuff being canadians at US school, are you guys doing all private, or part OSAP and private loans?

150 000 LOC from RBC, around 7000/year from osap, and my dad is loaning me the rest.. It's hard.. the tuition at my school alone is $37 000 USD

The thought of the dolllar dropping back down to 65 cents scares me..

I think the only way for a canadian to afford to US school is to have already saved up some money, or to have parents to help

40,000 US a year through CanHelp, and around 7000/year from OSAP. CanHelp is one of the only few programs available for Canadians that want to study in the States, and all payments are deferred until after you graduate.

there is a student loan thread in this section that has already dealt with this topic.
