I am thinking of cancelling some interviews because I was accepted. Can you guys help me decide... is there any reason I should still go to these?

Please rank the schools below so I know which I should keep:
    UIC
    Albany
    Mount Sinai
    Jefferson
    Drexel

    Thanks

Please remove Drexel. As an accepted student to UIC, I am figuring you have uber stats so, please give average students a chance but that said, I'd pick:
    1. Mouth Sinai
    2. Albany
    3, Jefferson

If you thought UIC was great...then you shouldn't go to any more. However, I would probably go to Mt. Sinai to scope it out, since usually higher ranked schools have better financial aid packets. Good luck!

UIC is a great school. They've also got a pretty good MPH program.

As far as the other schools, only go to the interviews if you'd seriously go there if accepted. A second and subsequent consideration would of course be the financial aid packages.

i'd go to Mt. Sinai and drop the others. UIC ranks higher than those, in my book

Actually, I was really impressed by drexel. The students have great cameraderie and the faculty truly cares about the students. I will not attend only because I was even more impressed by SLU. It was definitely my second choice, although it sucks that they are unranked. Check out drexel's residency match list though before you discount it as a quality school.

    http://webcampus.drexelmed.edu/admissions/matchplacement.asp

Last year alone they had 14 orthopaedic surgery, 12 anesthesiology, 4 derm, and 2 plastic surgery matches. They do have a large class but not enough students to claim it as the only reason for the large number of high matches. Also, many of these high profile residencies were at schools like UCSF, Stanford, Harvard, UPenn, Duke, UCLA, etc. Check it out, you'd be surprised.
