Carbohydrate of the glycoprotein attached in Golgi OR Rough ER?

    Wiki says it is attached in the Golgi.
    Cliffs says it is added in the Rough ER.

    Wiki has failed again. I personally like to use wiki but i honestly dont always believe wat i read. It is, as cliffs says, added in the Rough ER.

    Golgi can modify carbs found on the protein tho


    if the question asks for post transcriptional modification the answer is usually the golgi
