Everyone?Anybody getting less interviews than they expected this year..?
Hiw can I join the watsapp group?
Many thanks
Same here on both accountsThinking there will be a lot of activity this week now that we are about to enter September. Still waiting to hear back from 80% of places I applied.
Same here. Probably waitlisted.I just wonder if any IMG who applied to Case Western but still did not receive any message. Because it seems some received rejections on 8/21 but for me, I did not receive any email whether interview or rejection
have they sent out any invites yet? i dont see it in the threadI just wonder if any IMG who applied to Case Western but still did not receive any message. Because it seems some received rejections on 8/21 but for me, I did not receive any email whether interview or rejection
for those of ya who’s still not in the whatsapp group I created initially, here’s the links: please note group 1 is generally full, group 2 still has some space. Info will be updated simultaneously and parallel across both groups, so please only join 1 I

Can we say that most interviews have been offered? Should candidates be expecting more. I believe, there would be minimal Interview cancellations this yr as interviews are virtual
I think there's likely more waves. Personally, I applied to 47 programs, and have only heard back from 14 (offers + rejections). That's less than 1/3. I don't know about anyone else though. I don't think it's over until we've heard back from majority of the programs we applied to.

I didnt hear back from few programs so I ended up emailing them. They informed me that all their interview slots have been filled. But I didnt get a rejection from them. I am thinking that programs might not send out rejections.
Programs of CT and few michigan programs.Do you mind me asking what programs?
Jeez, I applied to over 50 and I only have 2 interviews (including my home program) plus single-digit rejections so far FWIW I'm an AMG and my home fellowship PD told me my application should be nationally competitive...how screwed am I actually
Thinking this is a silly poll considering the radically different number of programs in a state. A better question would be how many in your region (NE, SE, MW, WC, etc)? I'm noticing amongst my friends that interviews appear to be very regional.Per a private text request, someone asked me to put a poll asking how much of everyone’s interviews so far are from your own state (or even very close by states)?
Have your say: What percent of your interviews are in your own state?
Voice your opinion on the poll: What percent of your interviews are in your own state?www.poll-maker.com
There’s also great variability in the number of programs each applicant applied to. If the question is “are interviews more region this year?” then perhaps splitting the poll answers into regions (NE, MW, SE, WC) and then ask what percent of invites are from within your region. (Excluding those only applied within own region). What do you think?Thinking this is a silly poll considering the radically different number of programs in a state.
