MA/MS Career Counseling/Academic Advising

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if you all can over any advice of what its like being a career counselor and/or academic advisor? Is there a good outlook for these two careers? I know that the starting salary is in the mid 40s and late 50s averagely but is there a way to make more than that? What master's programs would give me the best opportunities to get into higher education and also into the career counseling fields?
