Careers in Grant and Patent Work

Hello Everyone,

Sorry to bother you all with a question that I have. I'm currently in the process of developing my "Plan B" for when I graduate from undergraduate school next year. My plan A involves me going into the medical field after getting a masters degree (genetic counseling). Therefore, the question I have is: what careers can a person get that involves work in denying and approving grants and patents? I did a Google search but was not able to find job titles for these types of careers so I can learn what educational requirements would be needed.

Thank you for your help.
