I have somewhat of an obvious question which seems like it has an easy answer but I'm curious on what you guys think.

I have been making extremely careless mistakes (especially on in PS) during my practice tests. The PS section is my strong section(been getting 11-12 regularly) however most of the mistakes I make are plain stupid. It's not that I don't understand content or what the question is asking, I just read the question wrong on these.

Since timing is crucial and I've been doing relatively well on PS I tend to read the questions so fast (kind of skimming through) once I think I know what it's asking. I know that being more careful and making sure to fully understand what the question is asking is the obvious answer here but it's like I've grown a habit of it.

These mistakes are much more frustrating than if I made a mistake because I didn't know the content or concepts behind it. Those are easier to fix in my opinion than the mistakes I've been making.

Any input is appreciated. Apologies for the horrible grammar

I actually made stupid mistakes at first as well. Just slow down a bit.. It's also my habit to read questions really quickly. Try to FOCUS, not hurrying up to just finish the exam as soon as possible.

EK 1001 Physics and Gen Chem. They helped me specifically with this problem. They're super quick and you cruise through them, and the first time you check your answers there will probably be an unnecessarily high number of silly mistakes. Fortunately the problems are pretty much never ending, so you go through the next batch, this time reading a little more carefully. You only need an hour per subject per study day really, and don't stress about finishing the whole book. My PS score went from 11-12 to 13-14 on the practice tests in this way. Good luck!
