Carraway Hospital in trouble

FWI: From what I hear Carraway in Birmingham, AL is in serious trouble. They had a meeting at the hospital. They fell from level 1 to level 3. Lost the OBGYN and the ORs are dropping from 16 to 4. The residents are in big trouble also.

Unfortunately what you said is true. Carraway is on their way out I'm afraid. Bessemer-Carraway was recently bought out by UAB so that saved them, but I don't think the main hospital will be so lucky. They were recently bought out by a for-profit, I believe. UAB's new hospital will be able to accomodate much more trauma and will likely take away even further from Carraway's dwindling trauma load.
