I AM CURRENTLY WORKING AS A BUYER FOR THE AEREOSPACE INDUSTRY. MY GOAL IS
TO BECOME A PEDIATRICIAN. I WORK 40 HRS A WEEK AND ATTEND A COMMUNITY
COLLEGE. MY GPA IS PRETTY LOW (2.67) WITH A COUPLE OF "W". I HAVE NOT YET
TAKEN ANY OF MY SCIENCE COURSES AND I ONLY HAVE 36 SEMESTER UNITS. MY
QUESTION IS: SHOULD I GIVE UP MY DREAM TO BECOME A PEDIATRICIAN OR SHOULD I
PRESS ON TO IMPROVE MY GPA, EVEN IF I GET STRAIGHT A's FROM NOW ON WOULD
MY GPA BE COMPETIVE? THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Good to hear from you.
Sounds like you really need to make a critical decision. You really have to make
excellent grades (nearly 4.0) from here on out to have a shot at med school. It will be
nearly impossible to do this if you are working 40 hours a week.

Put things into perspective, re-evaluate your goals, and make a decision.

I wish you the best.
