I was thinking to myself that this is probably the first year that all applicants will take the CBT MCAT and I was wondering if there was any differences in the average scores with this new format as compared to the older version. It would make since that there would be some discrepancies, but I may be over thinking it. This question isnt of great importance, but just curious

No, its based on a bell curve so average will always be about the same. If the difficulty fo the exam and the competitiveness / preparedness of the test takers increase (which it has, drastically IMHO after looking at older MCAT material) the average will STILL be the same, but your position in the probability distribution will change, and your score will be effected.
