Hi fellow dentists,

I am in a very confused stage right now, I have until oct 25 to apply for the paper based test. But I keep hearing how it is better to take the computer based test instead. I am so scared right now, because i feel havent prepared enough, can anyone, anyone suggest something to me? Paper based or computer based? Are there really big difference between the two? Please advice me thanks in advance

If you want to take the paper-based, you should have finished studying your portion by now. Because 1 month of revision is necessary before this exam. The best way to see if you are prepared is to time yourself and do an 8 hr exam at home using old papers. See how you score. If your score is good, go ahead and apply for paper-based...u still have 1 more month to revise. If its not so good, u know what to do.

dont worry, take it easy. its better to take cbt if u feel u r not prepared. its no use writing this exam without thorough preparation. as for whether pbt and cbt is concerned, cmon....whoever told you that one is easier than the other? you shd know better than that!! SDN members have scored excellent on BOTH versions. hope that helps. Good luck!! 👍
