In verbal section, can you switch between passages with one click of an "option" or do you have to keep clicking "next question" until you get to the next passage?

you can go to review all or something like that that takes you to the screen with all the question numbers and if you've answered it or not

What about if you want to start on passage 2 instead of 1 at the start of the test? Is there a button that you can press to go to passage 2 directly?

Yes, you just click NEXT for the next passage.
