Quick question. Im doing the cc to university (UC) track because of average HS grades (3.4gpa) and financial reasons. I cant see myself spending two more years at home only to have to possibly repeat some if not many of my courses at a UC. Im wondering if its possible to transfer out to a university for my sophmore year rather than my junior year. I was checking the UCLA website and it says that they accept a few students under junior level standing who were either eligible to enter the UC system upon HS graduation or who needed to make up a few of the required courses before being eligible. I am considered "eligible" because I finished their HS course requirements in highschool and was wondering if this allows me to be able to transfer sooner? Is there something I'm missing? I personally wouldnt even mind having to start over fresh at the UC and putting this year to "waist" (although im pretty sure some of the classes will transfer over) since it would be a better oppurtunity in the long run with research ops and such. Anybody have in info on this?
