Hola! I'm wondering if there are any dentists from the Caribbean who have taken the Adex exam. I found out recently that ADEX is being offered in Jamaica and I'm considering doing it there. If anyone would be willing to give any tips, help, advice on how to successfully obtain Adex status? Also I have a few questions.
GENERAL
1. If I do the Adex exam in Jamaica, will I be able to obtain licensureship in the US or is it limited only to Jamaica? (I realise I would have to do NDBE 1 + 2; a 2 year AEGD/GPR residency; and state specific requirements)
2, Has anyone taken it at the center in Jamaica? Feedback appreciated.

1. What are the best materials to study from?
2. Anyone has a ecopy of the Norman K. Wood book?
3. Other threads mention past papers? Does anyone mind sharing?
PERIO
1. Is it better to chose a patient with moderate or heavy calculus?
2. Ideal pockets of 4-5mm?
RESTOR
1. Do you advise finding one patient with everything (class 2 + 3) or multiple patients with single?
2. What are the causes of failure?
