cell bio + gen microbio substitute for gen bio 1 prereq?

i have already taken: cell biology, 4 credits, no lab component

this coming spring semester i am taking general biology 2 with lab. this covers evolution, plants, etc.

i still need to meet the "general biology 1 with lab" requirement - so can i substitute with general microbiology that has a lab component? the general biology 1 classes are filled up right now.

so my biology requirements would be...
cell biology, 4 credits, no lab
general biology 2, 4 credits, lab component
general microbiology, 4 credit, lab component

i'll check with the schools too but i wanted to ask here.

I'm pretty sure you need to take Bio-1

Had your cell bio class had a lab you'd be done. However bio2 with lab and microbiology probably will work. The thing about the biology requirement is that while general works best you'll be fine taking other upper level versions of them.
