Cell metabolism Vs. biochemistry

Which class do you think best prepared you for medical school? I keep getting conflicting opinions on this. Some say undergraduate Biochemistry was completely different from medical biochem and was not helpful at all once medical school started. Also I recently spoke to someone who highly recommended cell met in preparation for medical school. I Would love to hear your opinions on this issue.

Nothing prepares you for medical school. Just take whatever you want and cover the pre-reqs.

No single class is going to make a lick of difference in the end. I would just take whatever sounds more interesting to you.

I have done some cell metabolism in biology and would defiantly take that class, I find it interesting to learn. Is this just animal cell or plant cell too?
