Hey guys I'm a pre-pod applying early this upcoming cycle and I was looking ahead into some temporary opportunities that would generate both income and relevant experience in the "gap year" I would have if I ended up matriculating into pod school in fall 2018. Personally I would love the opportunity to gain work experience in a clinical podiatric setting before jumping into pod school.

In your opinion:
Would the $599 investment (online course) be worth it? Are certifications like these common?
What is the difference between getting a "CCPMA" cert vs a traditional MA?
It it likely there would even be a pod clinic interested in hiring someone with this specific credential? (I know pod clinics that only hire MAs)

Save your money. You don't need this. Do or do not work in a podiatrist's office. Save the meaningless letters for someone who has a boss that will pay for them.
