I was told about one month ago that i had an abnormal pap and that i need to come in to see an Ob/Gyn (which i had seen a normal dr for my pap.) So I went in for the check-up and a colopscopy and they ended up doing a biopsy right there. 2 weeks later I get a call saying I have a mild stage of dysplasia and need to be seen again. At that point though, I was getting ready to deploy to Saudi Arabia 5 days later. The women then called my primary doctor and he told me that if I was back in the states in 6 months he didn't see a problem with it me leaving. Well, 3 days later a doctor above him calls and says it is worse then my primary doctor thinks and I can't go. He wants me to be checked up in 3 months.
So, my questions are...
1. Is there a reason for a 3 month wait or could it be taken care of now?
2. If it really is mild, could they still treat it now and send me on my way in 6 months to Saudi?
3. How bad is my condition really?
