Cfs?

I am reading Kaplan Microbiology and they mention treatment of Trypanosoma is Suramin if the CFS is normal.....What does the CFS stand for?
I am lost there and would appreciate some help. Thanks....

I think it may be a typing error and is meant to say csf: cerebrospinal fluid. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
