cGPA: 3.43 (strong upward trend-- fr yr: 2.41, soph: 3.55, jr: 3.82, sr: 3.88)
sGPA: 3.58
MCAT: most recent= 32
1st attempt: 25: 6 P, 10 V, 9 B
2nd attempt: 32: 10 P, 11 V, 11 B
Research:
- Research assistant for 3 semesters and 1 summer in undergrad
- NIH Research Internship senior year of HS

Clinical Experience:
- 200+ hours of shadowing
- 60+ hrs volunteer scribe at free clinic

Extracurricular:
- President of honor society
- Head of Service Committee in Service Frat
- Work in healthcare management consulting- 1 yr
- Many tutoring/mentoring programs throughout college
- Spent a month being a Resident Assistant and Teaching Assistant for outreach summer science programs through college
- Science policy internship, submitted policy paper for publication
-Volunteer Coordinator at free clinic
- 190+ non-clinical community service hours through activities organized through Service fraternity, animal shelter work, etc.

Bumping this since I'm curious about what people think of your schools as well (slightly higher gpa/research/clinic, but less leadership activities).
 
Are you a URM? Howard's mission is to create URM physicians.

You should apply both MD and DO with that cGPA. The 32 MCAT is better-than-average but not better enough to overcome that GPA deficit. I'm not saying that MD is impossible, but you should definitely have some DOs in there.
 
You have a good list though delete Cooper unless you are a NJ resident. Schools you could add include Oakland Beaumont, Western Michigan, St. Louis, Creighton and any new MD schools that open in 2016. What is your state of residency ? Definitely apply to 10 or more DO schools since there is no guarantee of MD admission with your stats.
