UCLA
UCSD
UCI
UCD
Boston
USC
Emory
Brown - prefer their own undergrads
U of Arizona
U of South Caro - they don't take many OOS apps each year
Med U of South Caro - very few OOS apps each year
Colorado
Stony Brook - take few OOS apps each year
Penn State
George Washington - they get >11,000 apps per year
South Carolina SOM - is this Greenville? the OOS tuition is insanely high
Loma Linda - make sure you're okay with their strict religious standards before applying
Hawaii - unless you're from HI or you have strong ties to the area delete them

U of Arizona, NYMC, Oklahoma, and South Carolina accept virtually no OOS students.

U of Arizona, NYMC, Oklahoma, and South Carolina accept virtually no OOS students.
NYMC matriculated 110/202 kids from OOS last year. They are worth applying to. U of Arizona matriculated ~27% OOS last year, and the majority of their OOS matriculants tend to be from CA. They may also be worth OPs time.

This looks like a pretty solid list to use! Thanks a lot. Do you know anything about UVA by any chance?

Thanks for the information! I know California is pretty difficult and most likely I have to move out of state so whatever makes my chances higher of getting into medical school is okay with me!

When you see "more realistic", is it because of the MCAT, GPA, or EC's?
