That was silly of you to retake a 32 but your lucky that your second score didn't go down much. A 31 is still a respectable score. Apply early and broadly and I think you will have success.

Hey guys,

I graduated in 2012 from a top liberal arts college magna cum laude and am currently working in a distinguished lab in NYC.

cGPA 3.81 and sGPA 3.83.
i got a 32 on my first MCAT and after months and months of studying got a 31 on the retake. I was devastated and should not have retook, but i was so confident i would do better based on practice tests but **** happens. Im determined to go forward this application cycle (unless anyone sees major red flags?).

Research:
I have one publication from the lab im working in now and another one pending.
Wrote a senior thesis
summer research programs in 2011 and 2010
worked in a professor's lab my junior year

Shadowing:
35 hours with surgeons
64 hours in china
72 hours at my local hospital

Volunteer:
150 hours so far at a hospital, still doing it now
EMT-B on college squad three years, was a leader and board member

Tutoring:
Orgo tutor for two years
TA for biology and chemistry labs every semester for three years

other miscellaneous activities like choir, art awards; clubs like peer health mentor, medlife

my LORs are very strong

Lose umass and uconn. They are probably the most OOS-unfriendly on your entire school list. I'm assuming you have NY residence.

actually i have MA residence, i chose some NY schools that are friendly to OOS, plus i've been living in NYC so that's got to count for something no? Im probably going to drop UCONN and switch in UVM
