60 hours volunteering in a hospital (a few memorable experiences)
currently shadowing pediatrician, expect 80 hours by end of summer (already many great things to say about it)
researched 130 hours over 3 months last summer, plant lab
a few 1 day non-health volunteering events otherwise, mostly as a part of clubs

so, i'm worried about how much it matters that i've barely volunteered. how concerned should i be, and what should i do about it?

worried only about schools in texas, primarily houston and galveston ones. thanks for any responses!

i think in general you're lacking a little in ECs overall. i'm no expert on Texas schools though, and your "problem" is an easy fix really.

ah sorry about that, but i suppose i wanted a little more specific advice on what kind of volunteering would be best. whether a non-healthcare activity or hospital volunteering mainly (if i had to focus on one).

are you applying this cycle?.. at this point you should focus on health-care related activities.
