Hello all. I know you all have probably seen these threads before but I need insights if this particular obstacle I had is worth elaborating on..
This is a more general, workplace failure I faced and overcame.
I had a needlestick incident with BSL2 mice blood without any supervisor in the building.
I was ashamed, disappointed in myself initially, and lost. I overcame by finding and following the appropriate protocol and realized that mistakes can happen even in perfect conditions and that I learned to troubleshoot.
The thing about this topic is that I feel like others' experiences will be similar and that I HAVE BRIEFLY MENTIONED THIS IN MY PRIMARY, but didn't go into detail. only mentioned the situation and what I learned (troubleshoot, can't always prevent mistakes.)
