Hi,

I'm planning to apply to medical school down the line and go into family/community medicine. But before doing so, I would like to receive my MPH degree. I just graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior. Unfortunately I have yet to take the GRE. I'm also wondering if any schools allow substitution of the GRE with an MCAT score? But anyways here's info about me.

Undergrad: UC Davis B.S. in neurobiology, physiology, behavior
GPA: 3.56
GRE: pending
Extracuriculars:
-3 years as a dental volunteer/intern
-1 year as a hospital/internal medicine volunteer
-1 year as an intern for a student-run free clinic
-EMT certified and currently volunteering as an ER Technician
-been highly active with community service since high school (8+ years)
-Fraternity Community Service Chair
-UC Davis Community Service Award: Silver as the chair for my organization
-UC Davis Community Service Award: Gold as an individual (no group affiliation)
Letters of Recommendation: 3 academic faculty

So what are my chances of getting into MPH programs? And what can I do now besides taking the GRE...

Thank you :)

it seems to me you are on the right path. and yes, schools usually will take the MCAT in place of the GRE.
