Where is your state of residence and when are you planning to apply? Do you have any tentative list of schools you are interested in?

New York. I was looking into the lower tier of medical schools here 'cause of my below average gpa and also the fact that I retook 2 courses.

Hofstra, Stony Brook, Albany, NYMC, NYIT, Touro. I'm hoping that I can expand on the EC's I already have, in the next year or so. However, being realistic, I might need to consider other states as well.

I suggest:

Temple

Jefferson

Drexel

WVU

Rosy Franklin

MCW

Creighton

Loma Linda (but read their list of don'ts)

Albany

NYMC

VCU

EVMS

Oakland-B

Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)

Netter
SUNY Buffalo
SUNY-DS
SUNY-Upstate

Any DO school, starting with NYITCOM, UNECOM, LECO, VCOM and PCOM. I can[t recommend Touro-NY or LUCOM.
