Changes in MCAT Format For 2003

I don't know why I didn't think to post this earlier, but the following changes will be made to the MCAT format effective in 2003 (I assume the April administration):

- The order of the Verbal Reasoning and Physical Sciences sections will be switched (PS first, VR second, BS third)
- Five questions will be removed from the Verbal Reasoning section
- Three organic chemistry questions from the Biological Sciences section will be replaced with genetics questions
- The verbal section will have a scoring range from 1-15

The Dean of Admissions at both Rush University and Southern Illinois University told me about this during my interview at each school. I'm not sure if this is old news (since I've only recently begun posting after a 2 month hiatus), but if it's not I apologize for the delay in getting the info out. The thread "AMCAS 2003 ??? Is it goofed up too???" must have triggered my recollection of it.
