Just curious....on my amcas app, the dates on my transmitted schools keep changing....for example, mayo was transmitted last week, then when i checked today, it said it was transmitted today at noon.

are these dates the last time the school accessed your file or is the date when they first download it. for some reason, i thought the schools would need to only download the application once??? just curious.......

i really don't know how much you can trust those transmission dates on AMCAS. according to them, BU, Tufts, and Northwestern still haven't been transmitted, but I got letters from each of those schools in the mail yesterday. 😕 maybe there is a disconnect in the system for schools that have electronic responses and those who do it the old fashioned way???

The same thing happened to me last year when I applied. Although I am not positively certain, I believe the original transmission dates were the ones in which the application was actually "transmitted."

thanks for the responses; it was confusing but i guess it's a pretty minor thing...as long as i'm verified!!! 😛

curious...does anyone else have thoughts on these changing transmission dates? all of mine have changed to either yesterday or today. i wonder if it's b/c i still have secondaries to turn in...
