this should help some people decide which fac to choose. americans should go to first fac obviously but for anybody looking to work anywhere but the state of california.......enjoy.

Just one point, one of the main reason why the 1st fac was ranked in 3rd place is because there are many students who aren't satisfied here, mainly because it is a nightmare just to pass every semester, let alone every year.

They do weed out way too many students (although the 3rd fac. is also notorious for this) and this is the main reason that students feel as a thought of uncertainty of passing or failing throughout all 6 years of med school. 2nd fac. on the other does have a less lenient system and is more student friendly (not many students fail) and it's valid in most of the the US states (except Cali.)

Give it 2-3 years and we'll see some changes. I am speaking of course about the new campus being built here in Brno.

Thats just not true shrey. 2nd fac is more student friendly? you have got to be mad, you have obviously never been to meet our foreign student secretary! attrition rates are just as high in all facs. i knew you would be the first to reply, to defend the 1st fac but in order to do that you need to state facts. 1st fac is a great school, as is 3rd fac but to say that 2nd fac is more lenient shows you really don't know much about 2nd fac. the % attrition rates in all facs in negligible!!. remember that for the rest of all your posts from now on. It has become the crutch of all your posts, that and cali recognition. just because you keep harping on about attrition rates does not make it so.
also i would brush up on your Czech shrey because the only position 1st fac came third in, is citations and publications.......your at the bottom, and one from bottom on the other two tables.

Hopskipjump, I said that after checking my facts indeed. I've spoken to almost 20 second fac. students and 4 students who transferred from the 2nd fac to the 1st who said that, they were much better of at the 2nd fac. as it was easier "compared" to the First Fac. I'm sure 3rd fac. is the hardest of all (as they follow an entire different approach).

I am in fact warning some students not to go to the 1st fac. because it can be very frustrating and every year is just a nightmare. The genetics course at the 1st fac. is the hardest and you may want to check with you own profs. of the 2nd fac. to find that out.

Yes the 2nd fac. is a lot more student-friendly because they give out scholarships and grants and stuff...talk about the foreign student secretary....do you even know how bad it is at the 1st fac!!!! that's what i thought..........I've spoken to people of all faculties and I have friends from the 2nd and 3rd faculties (in fact I had a roommate who was from the 1st fac. but transferred to the 2nd).

you have strange idea of facts shrey. i also have known many students from all facs for many years and all have different "opinions" about individual subjest and years. does that make them facts? no they are called opinions. a whole twenty students? you must have your finger on the pulse of the student popultion.
I repeat, no one fac is easier than the other. all are hard, some harder for different subjects and some harder for different years.
I would love to hear you trying to explain to the students kicked out of 2nd fac that it is easier than 1st fac!
Do you not think I have been told by students that they find 1st fac nice enough or 3rd fac students find it not too difficult? Of cousre i have, but i do not then state as fact that 1st fac is easier than 2nd fac. Do you understand my point?
Its like a student at kings in london trying to convince a warwick student that their course is easier! its a pointless game to play.
in regard to the student friendly aspect.......you know nothing. grants and scholership is a gimmic but even then thats not what i would base my opinion of student friendly on. "foreign student friendly university" does not translate in czech republic for any of the faculties.
