Cheap Airline tickets?

Recently I was accepted to a Tropical disease Research trip to ecuador,(put on by U of Ohio Med)

I was wondering, what's the best internet site for shopping for plane tickets? Priceline.com??Does it matter that this flight is to Quito, ecuador? (international flight?) Little help here, since i've never had to buy airline tickets before, ever!!!

I figured that all you interviewing kids a year ahead of me know of some deals. :wink:
