You can also book flights directly from the airline. Sometimes this is can be cheaper.

This website is off the chain (sorry just a little slang). They have cheap flights, cheap car rentals, and cheap hotel rates for amazing hotels. Just to give you an example:

I travelled to philly the week after the G8 concert and stayed in the Hyatt Regency Penn's Landing - a new (built in 2000) hotel to hyatt's four star collection. Regular rates were going for around $239/night. My rate was $81/night.

This website is totally legit. Though you cannot see what hotel you would be staying at, they not only give you its star rating, but also tell you who their hotel partners are. It was very comforting knowing that when they give four stars they are really refering to a four star hotel.

There are 3 star hotels for $42/night (I am talking about marriott, hilton, holiday inn, etc....)

I seriously suggest yall check it out b/c it will save you a HELL of ALOT of money!

Try www.studentuniverse.com . I saved a bundle. For example, A flight from Rochester, NY to Des Moines, IA was quoted at $287.50 (roundtrip). I went to the previously suggested sites and the lowest (from the same airlines) quote I got was $400.00.
