Cheapest/Fastest Way to Get From Miami to Gainesville

Hey All,

I'm thinking about stopping by the ol' UF campus during my spring break so I can take another look at the med school. I was wondering if anyone knew the cheapest/fastest bus or train route between Miami and Gainesville. So far, all I can find is a 9 hour Greyhound route for 76 dollars. The price is right...but I'd like to find something that took about 7 hours. Thanks.

There's a wormhole to Gainesville through a closed down 7-11 in West Miami but that's all I'm allowed to say.

What's wrong with just getting a cheap rental car and driving yourself up there? It's quicker. Only about 5 hrs. I wouldn't take Greyhound. I did once, and I absolutely hated it. They got a bunch of freaks on some of those buses I tell ya. Or maybe they all gravitate towards da back of the bus, where I chose to sit.
