I am a senior in high school, and I took chem 1a last semester at a community college, and now I am about to take chem 1b. My question: is it a wise decision to complete these courses before I transfer to a UC? I'm worried I might forget everything and will have to relearn everything.

99% of the things you learn in gchem wont ever come up again, ochem and gchem have little to no relation, and anything that does come up again will be reviewed before you use it.

finish whatever you can at a cc to save yourself time and money, med schools wont mind as long as you prove yourself in upper divs and the mcat.

But won't the mcat test you on gchem?

Yes it will. However, you are going to have to study for the MCAT regardless. No one remembers everything from gen chem for the MCAT unless they are taking the test and the course in the same semester.

👍

😀 Thanks dude, you just lifted a ton of weight off of my shoulders. I been stressing so much about forgetting everything.
