I took a chemistry course that is not a prerequisite.
I'm not sure if this course is counted toward my science gpa
(I think at my school this course is considered more as gen ed class,
but I'm not so sure about that either)
exactly what courses are used to calculate science gpa?

Thank You

it's sometimes up to the individual med school i think. I only say that it can be arbitrary b/c ppl sometimes get LOR's from things like a pharmcology class at a 4-year uni but the med school will say that doesn't count as a science LOR. I'm assuming you're talking about a class like "nutrition of food."

Classes used to calculate are BPCM = biology, physical sciences, chemistry, and math.

if its hosted by your schools chem department then its BCPM
as long as its not.. a remedial it should count..
intro classes also 'might' not count..
