For my fellow Chicagoans,

For those of you who are currently in, or applying to, cards fellowships in Chicago, it is my understanding that the competition is pretty high. My options are probably further limited as a DO student. Anyone have any input on this?

Also, is anyone going the interventional route? if so would you like to share any information as far as the selection process?

Thanks!

Although on the positive side--there are a lot of cardiology spots/ programs. I could be wrong but Chicago has the highest number of programs in a city, after NYC (not sure about LA)

Once upon a time, I interviewed at UIC and Rush. I don't remember there being DO's there, but you could give it a shot.
