Fairmount Behavioral Health System in Philadelphia is recruiting a new Chief Medical Officer. This is a critical leadership position at the facility working closely with Administration, Medical Staff, and all other clinical and administrative support staff in providing quality patient care services.
The Chief Medical Officer duties include administrative clinical management and direct clinical care of patients in hospital based services of inpatient and partial programs. The CMO will work closely with staff on quality improvement initiatives and risk management, providing clinical administrative supervision to other physicians and clinical staff. Program development and liaison activities with community referral sources and managed care companies are critical components in the position. Direct clinical care duties include initial evaluations and assessments, treatment team leadership and management of a limited patient caseload.
Position is fulltime offering very competitive salary, benefits and incentive plan. Ideal candidates will be Board Certified in Psychiatry and have previous clinical/administrative experience.
For over 80 years Fairmount Behavioral Health System has been a major regional resource for behavioral health treatment for children, adolescents and adults. Programs are offered in both inpatient and partial hospital settings.
