The Yale-Waterbury Internal Medicine Residency Program at Waterbury Hospital in CT is currently recruiting a Chief Resident for this upcoming academic year.
Among the many advantages offered to the residents in the Yale-Waterbury Program is the opportunity to learn medicine in a range of settings that provides in-depth and comprehensive training in internal medicine. Residents are confronted with the full range of challenges faced by on-the-job clinicians every day.
Because there are no fellowship programs at Waterbury Hospital, our trainees care for patients through direct collaboration with senior clinicians, specialists, social workers, therapists, nurses and ancillary staff allowing them to hone their leadership skills and to fully comprehend the demands and challenges of their work in ways that nothing else could.

The candidate should include their CV, a Letter of Reference from their current Program Director, at least two Letters of Reference from Clinical Faculty detailing their clinical and teaching abilities, and a Personal Statement explaining why they are interested in the Chief position in our program.
