choices after BA

I just finished school UCLA with a BA in biochem.and a GPA of 3.0. I know that my grades are not good enough to get into DO school... so i was wondering about my choice and about getting a masters degree to help my chances. help me out thanks

Many students in your situation will elect to enter a Masters program of some sort to beef up their applications. Three of the more popular programs out there, all of which are specifically tailored for getting you into medical school (according to their literature at least), are 1) Georgetown University's Masters in Physiology, 2) Boston University's Masters in something, and 3) MCP-Hahnehmann University's (Philadelphia, PA) Masters in Biomedical Science.

There's also another one here in New York at New York Medical College. I hear mixed things about the NYMC program, but have heard generally good things about the other three.
