Cincy secondary question

First of, I love Cincinnati for not adding any extra essays!

My question is when I go to review my application, my AMCAS essay is all one huge clump.....I've tried spacing it differently, indenting, etc, but no luck. Does it even matter?

I called Cinci on this very point. They said not to worry about it. It looks OK on thier end.

Same thing goes for Ohio State secondary.

It is an artifact of the security system used on the websites.

If you are applying to Cinci, I'm assuming you are also applying to other Ohio schools. That said, have you heard ANYTHING from the following:

MCO
Wright State
NEOUCOM
CWRU

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it! I applied to Wright State and MCO, but not the other two. Haven't heard anything yet.....doesn't Wright State get a ton of out of state applicants because its averages are a little bit lower than other schools?

It possible that Wright State gets a lot of out of staters. But, they don't take many from outside of Ohio. I think WSU is obligated by statute to take something like 85% instate. I'm guessing out of staters need to post 30's or so. Just a guess. Same goes for MCO and Neoucom.

Are you in state or out of state?

Why apply to WSU and Cinci, but not OSU, NEOUCOM and CWRU?

im applying to all the ohio schools as well ( i am in state)

havent heard anything from mco, wright, case, or neoucom either.
im anxious to get the case 2ndary, i think it has a hard essay that will take a lot of time


just making sure, but for the cincy secondary, when it says to list the most important extracurriculars, what exactly did you put down. I know it says no descriptions, but did you write location, dates, supervisor, etc ????

Hi Osar92,

I simply put the same title that I listed on the AMCAS. Because they asked for no descriptions, I gathered that all they would do is match up what I put in the secondary with the more in-depth info in the AMCAS (which, truth be told, isn't very in depth at all).

Osar92, where's you do your Undergrad. I'm a non-trad from case.

I applied to OSU also, just didn't mention it because, well, I dunno why.

Just for those curious, the CWRU secondary hasn't changed for the last few years, and I'm assuming it won't for you guys this year - a one page essay on "something other then medicine". Anything you want, which I think is pretty cool
