Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here! The one thing that most really hurts my heart is the exorbitant taxi fees.

I've actually lucked out with that, it just seemed I was always in a rush to book a hotel with my flight to get the "best deal" and didn't even consider other options. I picked hotels with free airport shuttles, but they were pretty far from the school itself. Later I looked and saw there were cheap, close options that would have made life easier.
Also, flight times and lack of choosing student hosts. I should have applied for student housing for most of mine, and the only one I did was denied.
It just seems I could have saved money and frustration if I didn't procrastinate or weren't as anxious with doing stuff.

How much? I better take care of that soon.

Came out to $280 for 2 nights. There were other factors, though. I booked late, it's the weekend of a big football game, and it was a Thurs and Fri night and downtown. But still, it could have been a lot cheaper. And of course, this is one of the only ones where I actually couldn't opt for a student host since my girlfriend is coming with me.

Yeah, that was something else... I couldn't believe my eyes.

Did anyone have the sh**ty luck of facing Chris Johnson in fantasy today? I got owned 😡

These new NYG receivers aren't too shabby...

Is there a particular reason you're staying 2 nights? I was planning on getting in the day before, and leaving the evening of the interview

Dude, I had Frank Gore on my team. Freaking awesome. 35 points.

Is it a bad idea to write to adcoms about your recent shadowing, volunteer work, and research positions while dropping a 'id love an interview' kind of hint? My top choice school has been giving interviews and I am worried that I have been overlooked already.

--note: my top choice is NOT a popular top choice, it is a perfect fit for me, and is local so I am not trying to push something that isnt too out of whack.

I actually sent in a note to be added to my file...I don't think it was a detriment to my chances...

actually I think it may have helped me

who knows!

and how could something like that hurt you anyway!

If you dumped your gf it'd be a lot cheaper

im hanging out in VT right now, no biggie

Yay Bills.

and Yay for finally receiving my last secondary and officially being done with them. Miami took forever for me for some reason even though the rest of mine have been in since late August.

Hopefully I hear something this week... the silence is getting annoying.

oh, well that's certainly a good reason then. sounds like fun.

Yeah, I've passed through Nashville a lot, but never actually stayed there, plus it's during my fall break and we have a road game that I'm not going to this time.

Still debating this Vermont thing, how is it stayclassy?

Eww, Bills fan. But congrats by the way.

 I'm more of a soccer fan than I am of american football but they are my local team and it's been a hilarious/interesting last few years. Never bored with the Bills, haha. (Oh and everyone around here is crazy insane about them)

Personally, I wouldn't do it. JMO though.

Wow, my Nashville hotel was really expensive. That's what I get for waiting so long. I suck at this whole traveling plans thing. I've been crap at it for the last 2 years and especially during the whole med school thing.

I can't tell you how many times I've regretted various things about the trips I've personally booked the last month or so.

Priceline name your price is pretty sweet. I got a $200/night hotel for $60 bucks.

Go Niners. 👍

Mike Singletary's got that team headed in the right direction. Niners make playoffs this year.

yeah Brady was magical during their nearly perfect season. Gotta say though, I still prefer Peyton. Eli has just been disappointing from what I've seen of him tonight.

eli sucks, massive. peyton is good, but not godly like espn would make you think. brady is all downhill after the knee injury last year...el fin for the pats dominance

Sanchez looks like a real deal. Much better start than Stafford.

Agreed. Plus Pats defense is the suck this year, or at least it will be.

Best QBs in league: Roethlisberger for winning/clutch, Brees for amazingness and stats, Rivers for just being good but he's a whiny bitch

Brady, Peyton, and Eli are now second tier.

agree with everything you said, except i would replace the bold with "fiery competitor that sometimes lets his emotions get the best of him"

I don't think you can call them second-tier... at least not second tier to Rivers. Maybe it's just because I just find him to be a total d-bag. I'll admit that Big Ben is up there though.

Yeah, you could still put Peyton up there with the best of them. Eli's not that great, fairly good game manager that can make big plays if needed.

Brady is just so up in the air right now with his knee - that was a major injury and he's not young anymore.

dont buy the hype, the media loves a villain, and they are always picking on rivers. when he talks crap, he "lost his composure," when favre/cutler/other media darlings talk crap, they are "fiery, wanna win." rivers is a good southern guy who genuinely wants to win, not be a d*ck like the media would like people to believe.

people will believe what they want though, so its not like im gonna change any minds.

I'm not getting it from the media, just from how I've seen him behave on the field. That said, Cutler is another one that makes my d-bag list.
