Class of 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Do you think if you had prosection it would make your life easier?

Yes definitely. We have a few prosections, and they were tremendously helpful. Dissections, not so much. I had prosections in my undergrad anatomy class too, and lab was actually fun.

I wouldn't choose a school based on dissection vs prosection though. Anatomy is such a small part of med school that it makes a small difference in the long run.

Oh for sure. But it all adds up right?

I'd look at things like that, the clerkship program, whether it was true pass/fail, and the cafeteria (cuz I'm a foodie).

Happy due date to me...

I'm still pregnant.

I hope it's a boy, but that's because Chicklet is really cute and I don't want her to be disappointed/guess wrong 😛

I had my first 'WTF is going on/WHAT IS HAPPENING?!' moment of med school today. I always used to think that med students were exaggerating when they'd claim that an entire undergrad semester's-worth of material would be taught in 2-4 hours...

I have that feeling right now to a much stronger extent than I have thus far. Thanks, head and neck.

Babies are cute.

Too bad learning how to make them is hard 🙁

If somebody stuck you with a gigantic phone bill that you didn't agree to pay (ie the salesman told you it came with unlimited Internet, but it didn't), what would you do about it? Yes obviously you come to their office and argue about it and show proof, but what if they sent you the bill anyway?

I would write them a check for the correct price, write a letter describing the situation, and include documentation. I'm assuming if you signed up for ____ service you would've gotten some kind of confirmation for signing up for a particular service package.

I <3 my Netters for conceptual understanding. (And, incidentally, I hate cadavers.)

So, am I really supposed to memorize all 100 different Vitamin B's and their deficiencies? 🙁

Why is Biochemistry fewer credits but twice as hard as Anatomy?

8 hours until Biochem midterm.

Ask me anything 🙂

Felt like an A. I memorized like 40 different drugs and cofactors, so it better be an A.

Dear god, why would there be TWO questions on Cholera / Pertussis AND have all similar answers in the vein of GDP/GTP ribosylation of G-i-alpha G-s-alpha G-s-gamma, etc..

Spend all day learning about Gq, Gs, and NO normal pathways: get tested on the pathologic correlates.

These people are just masochistic.

Good thing I read ALL the notes over twice.

Now for a well-deserved two hours of Doctor Who before cramming 18 hours for Histo! 🙂

Dear God, why do some people on this forum have to incessantly post about how much they've memorized or how well they've done on tests.

Good thing I read ALL posts over once.
(so I don't have to torture my eyes anymore then they need to be)

ugh. i got dumped the end of last week/this weekend. I am seriously incapable of studying for any of my med school classes. 🙁

atleast P=MD.

[just wanted to apologize for not being on sdn for awhile. it's been a rough and tumble couple of weeks]

Is it that much better? We just took our H&N exam yesterday and are now moving on to the limbs.

I'm expecting it to be significantly easier than H&N. Enjoy the ride.

He's doing great! He has his first appointment with our pediatrician in a little more than an hour. Chicklet loves him but has been acting out. I know she has probably more to adjust to than anyone.
