I am currently a student at a community college looking for advice on which classes to take.

I know that it is not wise to take a lot of the med school pre reqs at community college but I will have to take some in order to graduate on time.

Which "general" pre med classes should I take at my community college and which ones should I wait to take at a University??
I plan on taking either Physics 1 and 2 or Biology 1 and 2 at my community college.
Which one is the best to take at community college? Should I take all of them at a university?

I'm not trying to find the easy way out but rather the most benificial to increase my chances on doing well on the MCAT and getting into Med school.

Advice, suggestions very much appreciated!!

God bless

i'd say take bio in CC because you will take upper bio classes in university so if the q is raised you can show that you can do well at upper division level. unless you are a physics major you won't do the same w/ physics. but really as long as you do well and your grades dont drop upon transfer you'll be fine. and for the mcat as long as you have goo teachers it does not matter where you take the class
good luck

It is perfectly acceptable to take all of your "pre-med" coursework at a CC.

It is less acceptable to take these courses at a CC once you have transferred to a 4-year college. Med schools will not punish you for wanting to save money, but they frown on students trying to take an "easier" route.
