Would someone mind laying out what the Kaplan and TPR course structures are like?

For instance, is each session devoted to one topic?

Do these topics rotate or do you do bio for the first four classes, chem for the next four, etc?

During each class, how much does the teacher lecture? How much of it is you doing problems?

Also, is it one teacher the whole time or do you get a topic-specific teacher?

For instance, is each session devoted to one topic?
One subject, many topics. For example, the second 3-hour physics lecture covers thermo, fluids and solids, electrostatics, and magnetism. However, you are expected to do most of the thermo and magnetism review on your own at home, and the instructor only covers the other 2 topics in detail.

Do these topics rotate or do you do bio for the first four classes, chem for the next four, etc?
Rotate phys, chem, verbal, organic, bio and repeat x 3.

During each class, how much does the teacher lecture? How much of it is you doing problems?
In general: 25 minutes problems + review, lecture, 25 minutes problems, lecture, 25 minutes problems. So about 75 minutes of problems and 140 minutes lecture per class (assuming a break).

Also, is it one teacher the whole time or do you get a topic-specific teacher?
Depends on the class. You may have a different teacher for every subject, or one for all subjects. Either can be just fine, as long as you get good teachers.

--In the beginning, a lot of lecture (but teacher calls on people a lot) with a few passages from the TPR In-Class Compendium. Towards the end, you'll be doing mostly passages.

Also, is it one teacher the whole time or do you get a topic-specific teacher?

--Topic specific teachers (but some double up)
