I took courses in the physics and bio department called:
Bio 18 Human Impact on the Environment
Phys 12 Energy and the Environment

would these go BCPM because the departments are obviously bio and physics? I know its cheap you guys, obviously got A's...but would AMCAS change it based on the title, or will it be fine because its in the bio/physics departments.

I would definitely list them as BCPM. I took a one-credit course called "Grand Canyon Wildflowers" that was from the bio dept, so I listed it as bio...it didn't get corrected. Also, I took a statistics course that was from the psychology department and listed it under math (since I got an A), and that wasn't changed either. Your courses are obviously from the physics and biology departments, so why not use it to your advantage?

I took a "physics of surfing" seminar. Top that. It was only one unit and pass/no pass though.

What! My classes sound so academic in comparison.
Ok, guess we are all agreeing that the department not subject determines BCPM in this case. Thanks
