Cleft Lip/Palate Overseas Volunteering

Hello, boy has it been a while.....

I've been interested in doing an overseas cleft lip/palate trip since dental school, it was even one of the reasons why I wanted to do OMFS. Now that I'm a 5th year OMFS resident, I feel that I have some skills to offer and can maybe be of value.

I'm interested in gathering the perspectives of anyone who has done such a trip. I'm interested in knowing what your role on the team was, how you prepared, and how the experience compared to your expectations.
