Anyone know of a good, preferably small, handy reference that explains lab tests, their indication, and how to interpret them?

I haven't found the lab section in Epocrates to be all that helpful.

Thanks

ps: I just got promoted, apparently! Woo hoo! (now, to learn about my new powers.....) :D

"Ferri's Best Test -- A Practical Guide to Clinical Laboratory Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging (Spiral-bound)"

I don't own it, but when I've perused it in a bookstore, I liked the content and size. I've long since left adult medicine behind, but I loved the Ferri "Practical Guide to the Medical Patient" as a student-same author and style.
