Hey! I was wondering what some clinical opportunities are available during this time other than EMT. Also, do medical schools look for students to take on "unique" opportunities (many premeds are EMTs/medical scribes, so something outside of these positions), or do hours matter more?

You could see if your area is involved in Telehealth or Contact Tracing, and volunteer in those ways.

I've got a job as a pandemic support worker at a hospital. Check local hospital career oppurtunities.

I believe hours in clinical exposure is more important than being unique. However, "don't just count hours, make the hours count". Make meaning out of the experience. How did/would it not only strengthen your app, but boost your commitment to medicine.

I'm just a pre-med though, so I may be naive.
