Can anyone point me in the right direction in how to prepare for that section on the NBDE part 1? I'm just using decks and had some stuff that I got on here with a bunch of scenarios and questions...

This one is definitely going to be on that section:

When should you drill and fill an E1 lesion?
A. Always
B. Sometimes, but more often than not
C. Less Commonly than frequent but more common than rarely
D. Never
E. Absolutely Never

As everyone knows the answer is A- you should always fill an E1 lesion. To figure this out you just use the simple rule of money Vs. patient benefit; where Money always wins!

On a serious note: Does anyone else think its dumb that we have to be taught to take care of the patient needs over our whats in our best financial interest- Its basically what ethics is about in dentistry- shouldnt we already have that mindset of caring for people when we come into the professional realm?!?!

E1 lesion? why have i never heard of that?
and where is this q from? ethics?
sorry if its a dumb q...seriously, ive never heard of an E1 lesion!
